Hoyohoy Villas

I really want to give this place a higher rating because it has so much potential but this is it for now. Staff are great. Hands down. They are the best thing about hoyohoy. Very accomodating, very kind. When it comes to facilities, it’s not that bad but not that great either. The aircon inside our room was working but it’s not cooling the room the way we want to. I think it’s the placement of the aircon+high ceiling. What they can do is provide fans to better cool the rooms. We asked for a fan and they gave us one instantly. Also, I wish there were bath mats, and a bidet. The first thought that came to mind when I entered the bathroom was how are we supposed to wash ourselves with no bidet or even a tabo lol Love the almost see through curtains, they give a very probinsya and beach-y vibe but can be very creepy at night because you’re literally surrounded with windows. The place is not well lit at night as well. They lack enough lightings outside and even inside the room. The pool was a little bit dirty, hope they always clean it or atleast maintain it. The place is also near the port which can be an advantage but can also be a negative thing. You can hear the ferries docking at night but if didn’t bother me as much. As I have mentioned, the place has a lot of potential. I hope they take suggestions into consideration.

away from the night life and a clean place. Beach is serene and quiet

A really serene resort close to the port and only a few minutes away from restaurants and cafes. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were kind and really gracious whenever we had requests. I do want to mention that despite it being such a beautiful space, it gets really quiet and a bit eerie early on at night. But if you enjoy a bit of peace, then this resort is definitely for you. Other things: - wifi isn’t stable (data works fine so I was ok) - no bidet - no electric kettle (we were able to request for one so it was all good) - pool wasn’t available for swimming when we stayed because they were cleaning it It was an overall good stay.
