Dohibern Resort

Staff is very nice, upgraded me to a better room. Suggested spots to try on the island. Downside was that I hope they have a pickup driver from the Port. Toktok driver charged me 200 from Port to the hotel even if it just actually costs 100. Im willing to pay, but not get scammed like that so I tried calling the phone number on their profile but no one answered. Hope this review help improve them!

The place is worth what you paid for but make sure to book directly to the resort and not through Agoda. The owner already pulled out from the platform yet Agoda continues to post the property. When we got to the resort, the receptionist can't find our names in the system because they are no longer contracted with Agoda. The app already processed our full payment but did not forward it to the resort. Thankfully, they allowed us to stay in a vacant room although we were supposed to stay in a bigger room but we can't do anything since it was already booked to another guests. The resort is just a few steps away from the beach and from there, you can walk to Kota Beach and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. They don't have a restaurant but there's a bar on the beach-front and some rooms have kitchen inside that lets you cook. The only downside is that the wifi was not working the entire time we were there but kudos to the owner and the staff who were very accomodating.

Dohibern is an affordable yet great place to stay in Bantayan. Located just few steps to the beach and near to the the islands tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially the owner. I had left my ring in our room but they still coordinated with me so that I could have it back. Super honest. God bless you and more bookings to come.
