Amihan Beach Cabanas Resort

We had a really satisfying time visiting this resort. First of all, a reservation is required, and while it is not very large, it is perfectly equipped with all the necessary facilities and services. The staff were incredibly friendly and paid close attention to ensure that customers' rest was not disturbed. There was some noise at night, but everything became quiet before 11 PM, allowing us to rest comfortably. In particular, there are not many rooms, which made us feel like we were receiving more special and attentive service, and this was very impressive. One thing to note is that there might occasionally be noise from the neighboring house, but it didn't bother us much. Additionally, the beach right in front of the resort was great for swimming or taking a walk at any time. Overall, it was a truly satisfying experience thanks to the cozy and quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and good location. We would love to visit again! 😊

I recently stayed at Amihan Beach Cabanas for three nights with my friend, and it was an unforgettable experience. The big cabana right by the sea was perfect – spacious, cozy, and offering a stunning view of the ocean. The lush greenery surrounding the resort adds to the relaxing, tropical vibe, making it a peaceful retreat. One thing I really appreciated is that the resort only has seven cabanas, which makes the atmosphere feel intimate and exclusive. You quickly get to know the other guests, which adds a nice, friendly touch to the stay. The location is fantastic, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. But the absolute highlight was the magical nighttime ambiance. The fairy lights, torches, and soft piano music created such a dreamy atmosphere – my friend was even moved to tears on our first night! That said, the restaurant didn’t quite match the standard of the resort. We had dinner there on the first night but found much better and more affordable options in the nearby small restos. Another point for improvement is the service – while the staff was friendly, we had to remind them twice about the included fruits in our breakfast. Overall, Amihan Beach Cabanas is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay, with an incredible ambiance, a great location, and stunning beachfront cabanas. A little improvement in the restaurant and service would make it even better!

My husband and I stayed here on our first day in Bantayan. It’s a great resort to experience upon arriving on the island. It’s ideal if you’re only planning to stay and relax inside the resort, as it feels very private and peaceful, plus the view is spectacular. However, I don’t think it’s worth staying for more than one night since the resort is quite small, and you’ll get over the views fairly quickly. The restaurant prices are steep—about two to three times the cost of food outside the resort. The breakfast was okay. We appreciated the water basin outside the cabins for washing off sand before going inside—it was a thoughtful touch. However, I didn’t like the salty shower water or the lack of mirrors. There was only one mirror, placed in the bathroom, and it was too high. We couldn’t do a proper outfit check and had to take turns using it. * My husband said he couldn’t sleep properly at night—he thinks there were ghosts in our room lol. * We went to Sorana after staying at Amihan, and I found Sorana to be better.
